Making meaningful impact
For a century, co-ops have played a meaningful role in strengthening Singapore’s social compact by fostering values of mutual aid, inclusivity, and collective progress. I believe co-ops can continue to make a meaningful impact by addressing key societal needs - supporting vulnerable communities, promoting lifelong learning, and advancing sustainable living.

Exciting opportunities lie in leveraging technology and innovation to expand their reach and impact. By embracing digital transformation, co-ops can engage younger generations, enhance efficiency, and explore new areas like community-driven models. To stay relevant, co-ops must adapt to changing needs while staying rooted to their co-operative values.

Collaboration will be key. By fostering stronger partnerships with government, private sector, and civil society, co-ops can amplify their impact and co-create solutions for a more inclusive and cohesive Singapore. Wishing the Singapore Co-operative Movement continued success in the years ahead!
