On a drizzly Saturday morning, 16 volunteers from the TCC Credit Co-operative volunteered at SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home ahead of the Chinese New Year festivities. The volunteers are made of staff, directors and member representatives of the credit co-operative.
As with other co-operatives, TCC Credit Co-operative has been known to give back to society through volunteering projects. The volunteering activity marks the first volunteering engagement by the credit co-operative for the year by the co-operative. It is also the first engagement with the Singapore Amalgamated Services Co-operative Organisation, or SASCO for short, since the pandemic.
Leading the engagement was Ms N. Rajaletchumiy, who took to the stage to perform and entertain, leading seniors in myriad forms of dance and other interesting engagements. Thereafter, the team from TCC Credit Co-operative also helped served lunch to the seniors and give out Chinese New Year goodie bags.
