On 9 April 9 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared his experience breaking fast with the residents of Limbang on Facebook. The event, which is partly organised by established credit co-operative Singapore Statutory Boards Employees’ Co-operative Thrift & Loan Society Ltd, saw several volunteers distributing green habuan packets and grocery packets to those in need.
