The inaugural event aims to commemorate and celebrate female co-operators in Singapore. Today, more than 80% of those working in the Singapore co-operative are women, many of whom are outstanding individuals who have contributed selflessly to the movement, cared for others, and exhibited several of the co-operative values.

To better recognise women who have made the difference, SNCF has put out a call for submissions, where fellow affiliates and co-operative bodies can nominate female co-operators who have impacted their lives. Paying homage to their proclivity for making the impossible possible, this year’s theme is aptly termed “Women Make Magic”.

Whether they have demonstrated co-op values during work and beyond or gone the extra mile to facilitate a credit loan for a needy family, there are so many unheard voices and stories of these women SNCF wants to spotlight.

Interested parties can choose to nominate here. Should you know of more than one female co-operator worthy to be nominated, you may submit more than one nominee. Nominations close on Friday, 15 April 2022.
