At its core, Creathon 2022 aims to spotlight social issues that are very much prevalent in Singapore. YOU SEEK NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
At past years’ Creathon, we saw a variety of participants joining the exciting program. They run the gamut from investors, students, mentors from the co-operative movement in Singapore and to social entrepreneurs too. For many of our past participants, it was an enriching experience of sorts where they learn from one another’s mistakes, make new friends, and befriend investors or mentors.
YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO A BUSINESS PITCH
One huge part of Creathon 2022 is the special and exciting pitching competition. Here, you and your team only have 7 precious minutes to sell your business idea to a panel of esteemed judges, just like the infamous elevator pitch in the business reality show Shark Tank. Here is a quick tip: practice makes perfect. There will be many opportunities for you to practice pitching your business idea, especially when you interact with a fellow contestant or with a mentor.
YOU WANT TO WIN THE ATTRACTIVE PRIZES
There are two distinct categories to apply at this Creathon 2022: IHL (for students aged 17 – 26 years old) or Open (17 – 35 years old). For the first prize, the team from the IHL category will take home $2,000 while the team from the Open category will take home $4,000. The grand winner from the Open Category may also walk away with an extra seed funding of $10,000, if they choose to form a co-operative and receive exclusive mentorship from SNCF!
