About Us ...

Educare Co-operative Ltd has been dedicated to serving the education fraternity in multiple ways since its inception in 2004 by the Singapore Teachers' Union and its five institutional members. With the vision of being a leading education service provider, our close-knit and efficient team is committed to aiding and supporting schools and teachers, ensuring the progression of both the quality of teaching and of teachers' lives.

Our diverse spectrum of services, ranging from manpower provision to IT expertise to professional development, is employed by several schools and both local and international institutions of learning. These services were developed in order to assist and support teachers and to make Educare a one-stop, all-inclusive source of support for schools.

We operate essentially through two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Educare Schools Services Pte Ltd, which concerns itself with the manpower provision, teaching and learning as well as offering IT products and solutions; and Educare International Consultancy Pte Ltd, which oversees international consultation and professional development programmes.

Educare and its subsidiaries attained commendable levels of performance in audits based on Spring Singapore's business Excellence (BE) framework and standards, and were awarded the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) certification in March 2012. The Singapore Quality Class is the certification for overall excellence standard and provides organisations with a holistic model for managing business excellence. Educare and its subsidiaries are also proud to have achieved ISO 9001:2008 Certification in March 2011.

About Us ...

HISTORY
In 1995, the Council on Christian Social Concerns of The Methodist Church in Singapore initiated the formation of the Methodist Co-operative Society. The raison d'etre is based on Acts 4:32 which describes the lifestyle of the early disciples. They were of in one mind and heart and through their sharing with one another; they provided a fine example of a caring society. On 25 July 1995, the Methodist Co-operative Society Ltd was formed. The assets and liabilities of the Serangoon District Co-operative Thrift and Loan Society were subsequently transferred to the Methodist Co-operative Society Ltd. The latter was in fact our first Methodist Co-operative Society.
