These co-operatives, formed by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), provide childcare, housing, aged day care, food courts, supermarkets, insurance, pharmaceutical products, family clinics and dental services, print and broadcast media and thrift and loan services to members. They are formed by the Labour Movement with the primary purpose to serve workers and their families. The NTUC co-operatives themselves have a combined turnover of S$4 billion and 10,000 employees.

Established as NTUC Childcare in 1977, NTUC First Campus Co-operative Ltd (NFC) became one of the nine co-operatives of the National Trades Union Congress in 1992. With the mission of making qality early childhood care and education serivces affordable and accessible to families, we are a renowned and trusted early childhood care and education service provider in Singapore. Our childcare centres include My First Skool, The Little Skool-House International and The Caterpillar's Cove. NFC is also a community of teachers, parents and early childhood care and education professionals working together to bring out the best in each child and create inspiring moments for all.
